Aniimo Stats Explained β Potential, Perfect, Sunglasses & Crown (2026)
How Aniimo stats work: innate vs acquired potential to a 20 cap, the four catch grades and their odds, sunglasses and crown icons, awakening materials and personality bonuses.
Two Aniimo both graded Perfect, one hits way harder than the other β "that's not a bug." The grade on the catch screen is only one small piece of a system with roughly nine moving parts: species foundation, forms, potential, grades, icons, awakening, personality and more. This page maps the whole system from the community's deepest breakdown, with every number source-tagged.
Community report Β· 2026-10-09Quick answer: each of the six stats has potential: innate (rolled 0-10 at catch, locked) plus acquired (added with materials), capped at 20 per stat. Perfect grade β maxed stats β it means the two recommended attributes (thumbs-up) rolled well. Sunglasses = a double-10 innate roll on those two stats (the cheapest path to max). Crown = a stat you've actually raised to 20. Odds per the community: ~66% Common / ~26% Good / ~7% Elite / under 1% Perfect.
The six stats and two systems
Every Aniimo has six stats. The community breakdown names them HP, attack, physical defense, magic defense, regen and break β the official wiki's payload uses slightly different labels (hp, physicalAttack, magicAttack, physicalDefense, magicDefense, haste), so treat the video's naming as the player-facing shorthand. Each stat's potential decides how much it grows:
- Innate potential β rolled at catch or hatch, 0 to 10 per stat, cannot be rerolled.
- Acquired potential β added later with awakening materials.
- Innate + acquired caps at 20 per stat. A stat born at 10 needs only 10 more to max; one born at 8 needs 12 β same ceiling, cheaper path. That is the entire argument for catching well.
Grades: Common, Good, Elite, Perfect
Catches arrive unappraised; take the catch report to the research console at an outpost to grade it. Community-documented odds:
| Grade | Share of wild catches | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Common | ~66% | Low rolls |
| Good | ~26% | Usable early-game rolls |
| Elite | ~7% | Strong rolls |
| Perfect | under 1% | The two recommended attributes carried the roll |
The counter-intuitive part: the grade is weighted β the two thumbs-up recommended attributes count more than the other four. A typical Perfect reads ~8/8 in the recommended stats and ~4 elsewhere. Perfect does not mean every stat is maxed, which is why two Perfects can differ.
Community report Β· 2026-10-09The icons: thumbs up, sunglasses (perfect), crown (maxed)
- Thumbs up β marks the two recommended attributes for that species; they matter in every system below.
- Sunglasses β appear on Perfect catches when both recommended stats rolled a full 10 innate. The ceiling stays 20, but maxing costs 10 awakening points per stat instead of 12 β the savings feed the other four stats.
- Crown β appears once a stat is actually raised to its 20 cap ("crowning a stat"; both recommended stats maxed = the community's "double crown").
Short version: thumbs up = what matters; Perfect = the roll was great; sunglasses = the roll was the best possible; crown = you finished the job.
Community report Β· 2026-10-09Raising potential: awakening and the exceptions
- Capability awakening (Awaken tab): add one point at a time. Material tiers climb stardust β starsand β starcrust essence (the Omega-fight material β see the Primegy guide); the top points are also level-locked.
- Safety net: under level 60, awakening resets and refunds all materials β early mistakes are not permanent.
- Kappa fruit: +1 innate potential to all six stats, permanently β one per Aniimo, ever, so spend on keepers. Innate cannot exceed 10, so it does nothing to a stat already at 10.
- Some events add +1 innate to a random stat on the leader β unreliable; catching better is the real path.
Guaranteed-quality catches
| Method | Guarantee |
|---|---|
| Anapod Ultra | At least Elite potential |
| Sparkling cube | 100% catch + Perfect potential |
| Umbral Aniimo (shadowy wild spawns) | Always Perfect innate potential |
Personality: the quiet multiplier
Every Aniimo carries a four-letter personality (one letter from each of four pairs), each adding a small permanent combat bonus β the breakdown cites Energetic: +2% attack, +2% break and Instinctive: +4% regen as examples. Small numbers that compound across a full roster; most players never check them.
Forms are a tool, not an upgrade
One correction the breakdown makes explicitly: a Prismana form copies the base form's stats exactly β it is not statistically stronger. What forms change is the element and sometimes the skills. Judge a Prismana by its element and skill kit, "not by the rainbow."
Community report Β· 2026-10-09FAQ
What does "perfect crown" mean in Aniimo? A crown appears next to a stat once that stat hits its 20-potential cap through awakening. A "perfect crown" means the stat started with a strong innate roll AND has been maxed out β the finished product.
What does "perfect sunglasses" mean in Aniimo? Sunglasses appear on Perfect-grade catches when both recommended attributes rolled a full 10 innate potential β the best possible starting roll. Sunglasses don't raise the 20 cap; they make maxing those stats cheaper (10 awakening points instead of 12), freeing budget for the other four stats.
What do sunglasses mean in Aniimo? Both recommended attributes rolled a full 10 innate potential β the best possible starting roll in the stats that matter. It saves awakening points; it does not raise the 20 cap.
What is a double crown? Both thumbs-up stats raised to their 20-potential cap through awakening. Crowns are earned, not rolled.
How rare is a Perfect Aniimo? Under 1% of wild catches per community-documented odds β with Anapod Ultra (Elite+) and Sparkling cubes (Perfect) as the guaranteed paths around the odds.
Can I fix a bad innate roll? Partly: kappa fruit adds +1 to all six stats (once per Aniimo), awakening adds the rest up to 20, and awakening fully resets and refunds below level 60. But innate itself never rerolls β catch better instead.
